Nicola Taylor is a Glasgow based Independent Soul artist that performs her own original music with her 6-piece band. Nicola has been writing, recording, busking and gigging for 15 years and graduated at Trinity College London with distinction as a grade 8 vocalist. Nicola has also worked as a session singer/writer for different artists and producers including Benjamin Race, Arden Hart (Spice girls) Rob Harris (Jamiroquai) to name a few. Nicola is Influenced by artists such as Joss Stone, Sade, Jill Scott & many more.

When Nicola isn't performing with her own band she works with Glasgow’s Top events band ‘The Soul Establishment’ performing at corporate events all over the UK. Nicola has just released new music including songs like ‘Get High’ & 'No More Goodbyes' and will be releasing more songs in the coming months. Nicola’s upcoming shows are on the 26th March at Barras Art & Design, 30th March Coatbridge Theatre and 31st March at The Bungalow in Paisley with the Scottish Alternative Music Awards.
